Description

For collective impact projects that impact youth, authentic youth engagement can be difficult to achieve and sustain. This session will look at a 5-year old collective impact project in Baltimore City focused in increasing access to arts education in Baltimore City Public Schools. For the past 3 years, a council of 8 high school students has shaped the approach to advocacy. Learn directly from current and past youth council members strategies for elevating youth leadership, civic engagement, and lasting impact of participating in collective impact.
