Netra is a senior at The North Carolina School of Science and Math in Durham, North Carolina who is passionate about civil rights advocacy. She believes young people have the ability to make a large impact on the world around them and wants to be an active participant in the change made. She has worked with various organizations to make progressive change, both nationally and locally. She is currently the Regional Organizer for North Carolina in Rhizome, where she works to support 15 schools across the state. Her strongest value is that of communal autonomy, which she believes is most directly granted through education and active support. She looks forward to a lifetime of growing towards liberative empowerment.
