Chelsea Chapman is the Senior Research Analyst for the Central Valley Community Foundation (CVCF) in Fresno, California. Chelsea provides vital support to the collective impact work led by Christy Patch. supports collective impact work using data. Chelsea focuses on utilizing data to enhance the impact of CVCF’s programs and initiatives. Chelsea specializes in leveraging different types of data approaches to effectively communicate CVCF’s contributions to inclusive economic growth. Before joining CVCF, Chelsea was the principal investigator for a National Institute of Health F31 grant where she investigated empathic communication’s impact on pain outcomes in physical therapy. She’s always loved research and respected the impact it has when crafted into a powerful story. Chelsea earned her BA and MA in Communication from San Diego State University and PhD in Public Health from UC San Diego & San Diego State University. Chelsea is honored to be involved in the individual and collective journeys of upward mobility within the central valley. Her favorite place to be is the top of a mountain, by bike, hike, or climb.
