Jessica Villaseñor is a Program Manager at Community Partners where she uses her experience in research, teaching, and nonprofit consulting to contribute to and lead the co-design of the Learning Consortium intermediary program. Before joining Community Partners, Jessica co-founded The Sports Creative, an organization that designs sport for development programs for unhoused and at-risk youth, and was a Lecturer at the University of Chicago’s Crown Family School of Social Work. She is a sociologist by training and has spent the last 10 years critically interrogating the causes of social inequity and its many impacts on communities of color, with a particular focus on the experiences of unhoused youth and adults in urban space. Jessica received a BA in Sociology and Politics from Pomona College and an MA and PhD in Sociology from the University of Chicago.
