Communities across America are focused on place based partnerships to foster social and economic mobility. To ensure meaningful impact for the field, it will be critical for place-based practitioners to align on a common set of values and expectations. In this session, we will share a preliminary set of principles designed for place-based partnerships and the ongoing process of developing them to advance the work. We will also facilitate a conversation to solicit critical feedback on the principles to inform their ongoing iteration. Participants will come away from the session with a framework that can foster more intentional coordination across the place-based field.
Learning Objective: Participants will learn how their colleagues think about the most critical elements of place-based work.
