Shruti Venkatesan has been heading collective impact initiatives at Sattva over the last 3 years. Currently co-heading the Backbone team of Saamuhika Shakti, Shruti has previously co-headed PAN-India collectives such as the Bharat EdTech Initiative which was a first of its kind collaborative that unlocked EdTech learning for the India 3 segment at scale. Before joining Sattva, Shruti has worked in the impact sector for 8 years during which she worked with leading NGOs such as Teach For India and has adorned the entrepreneur hat by heading a social enterprise that aimed at financially empowering women from low-income communities through craft-based skilling and livelihood generation. Shruti is a Chevening scholar and holds a master’s degree in Development Studies from Institute of Development Studies, UK.
