Unidos Contra La Diabetes the initiative that is on a mission to reduce type 2 diabetes in the Rio Grande Valley. At the start partners and stakeholders learned about collective impact and how working together with one common goal, would help in reducing type 2 diabetes in the RGV. After several years of participation with no action, partners lost engagement and lost interest. After restructuring and change in leadership along with a strong backbone. We have come together and are working on our mission of reducing type 2 diabetes.
