Emily has over 15 years experience in the human services field in roles ranging from bilingual care coordinator to program director to data strategist. She is an expert data communicator who recognizes the power of data and is passionate about sharing that power with the community. Emily works with early childhood providers and health and human service organizations to facilitate data collection and analysis that allows them to tell their story. She was a key architect and developer of one of the first Health Equity dashboards using regional electronic medical records data in the country and built Help Me Grow WNY's Early Childhood Development dashboard which combines publicly available with developmental screening data to pinpoint neighborhoods that would benefit the most from additional early childhood resources. Emily has also worked with many organizations to review and revise their current data content and collection methods to ensure that what is being captured indeed speaks to the organization's mission and desired impact. She holds a Master's degree in Public Health from the University at Buffalo, with a special focus on statistical analysis and community health.
