Rachel Brooks is Director of Research & Evaluation at The Prosperity Agenda (TPA), which builds the prosperity of families receiving human services by advancing participant-centered practices at community-based agencies. She has over 25 years of experience in the fields of program and product innovation, research, evaluation, and communications. She is driven by a commitment to honor and change the experience of families in poverty, and to strengthen the autonomy and sustainability of our community partners. Her career began in marketing and communications with roles at Adobe Systems, Microsoft, and LizardTech, before venturing into microfinance in Eastern Africa. She previously held significant leadership roles as Executive Director and Director of Innovation at TPA, Co-founder and CEO of Echo Mobile, and Director of Marketing and Social Performance at Juhudi Kilimo. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in History and a Master of Public Administration, both from the University of Washington.
