In today's increasingly interconnected world, social movements play a pivotal role in driving meaningful change across various spheres, from environmental sustainability to social justice. However, for these movements to flourish and achieve their goals, they require substantial support and resources. This session will explore why philanthropy should actively support the ways in which collective impact efforts can align with movement building, how philanthropic organizations can effectively contribute to these movements, the necessary shifts in philanthropic practices to support movement, and the significant wins that can be accomplished through strategic investment.
