During this session, participants will hear from anchor collaboratives: place-based networks of anchor institutions that have organized around a shared goal of addressing community challenges by leveraging their collective economic assets for equitable economic development. Speakers will share lessons, challenges, and progress from anchor collaboratives working in two core anchor strategy areas: impact hiring and impact purchasing.
