Building a foundation for collective action rooted in racial equity and social justice requires an accurate understanding of community needs, barriers, and opportunities and the leadership skills to develop innovative and sustainable strategies for transformational change. EmpowerMT will share its approach to empowering individual and institutional action to interrupt oppression and create pathways to inspire effective collaborations to advance racial equity and social justice, elevate youth and adult engagement, and disrupt oppressive systems.
 
EmpowerMT is celebrating its 25th anniversary of fighting to create a more just and inclusive society by developing youth and adult leaders who work to end mistreatment, correct systemic inequities, and strengthen communities across Montana. EmpowerMT is a multi-issue organization; we recognize the intersections between all forms of oppression and work to end them all. We are ever-evolving to meet the rising demands of a rapidly changing demographic across Montana and build bridges across increasingly vast divides.
