Mission Promise Neighborhood, a collective impact, place-based partnership in San Francisco, has partnered with parents and youth with lived experience to identify system-level barriers impacting their life and educational outcomes using a human-centered design approach. Through the use of an app, MPN will be collecting community data, making it accessible to community members immediately, and using it to hold systems accountable. Mission Promise Neighborhood sought to find institutional biases holding back our community.
