As an Associate Director at FSG, Caitlin works as part of the Strategic Learning and Evaluation practice. Prior to joining FSG, Caitlin worked on a variety of research and evaluation projects both in the US and overseas, including work in Ethiopia, Nigeria, South Africa, and Botswana. During this time, she worked with MEASURE Evaluation, USAID’s primary vehicle for advancing data demand and use (DDU) overseas, and the International Training and Education Center for Health (I-TECH), a center based on the University of Washington dedicated to supporting health systems strengthening abroad, including improved use of data for decision making. She provided technical assistance to program partners to design and implement monitoring and evaluation (M&E) systems and coordinated research studies focused on health service delivery and quality improvement and assessment of nationally scaled data systems. At FSG, Caitlin works with clients to develop Strategic Learning and Evaluation Systems (SLESs) and evaluate complex initiatives with a focus on improving use of data for learning and decision making. She has worked across a range of issue areas including education, community development, journalism and media, and global health and has experience in Collective Impact and community-based participatory methods.
