This discussion will highlight how a group of ordinary citizens (A Better Glynn) formed a power building movement in the wake of the hate crime/murder of Ahmaud Arbery in Brunswick, Glynn County, Georgia.

The history of the area provided the foundation of the spirit that resides in the co-founding members of the organization and will highlight the skills and tools required to shift power in rural communities; engage community members; and develop relationships that collaborate in pursuing social justice.
