Small, local organizations and non-profits often have a great need for data, both for funding purposes and program development/course correction. One challenge collective impact organizers face is aligning these stakeholders around shared metrics and measurement. In this session, we will show how we were able to rally an array of organizations, from hospitals to universities to regional non-profits, around a free, interactive dashboard we built with hyperlocal insights into 21 SDOH indicators using publicly available data. We will cover how to convene the right people around the right information with a lens on diversity, equity, and inclusion. By the end of the session, you will have learned how to convene stakeholders, how to speak to data and non-data folk when presenting analyses, and considerations to make as your influence grows.
