What does it look like for collective impact to move beyond the management paradigm of the original five principles to a true movement paradigm? Our session will help answer this key question by introducing the Mt. Vernon, VA-based CommunityPlus and Opportunity Neighborhoods, which are respectively the multi-stakeholder table and community mobilization initiatives making up this work. Community members will tell the story of how this work came to be and go into detail about how supporting community members as lived experience experts grounds the table in equity and spreads a movement of community voice.
