Although a Brooklynite, Christina Williams is proud to serve in Staten Island. Over the course several years, she has been able to develop professionally in the field of Youth Development across the boroughs of New York City. Her work has specifically focused on the city’s Out-of- School, Out-of-Work population with a deep concentration on youth ages 15-24 involved in the criminal justice system. Christina comes from a professional culture of trauma-informed and culturally competent service. Aside from her work in social services, Christina is also a member of BombaYo, a Bronx-based Afro-Puerto Rican performance collective which focuses on social justice, cultural awareness, and collective healing through the practice of Bomba.
