As the Director of Community Schools, Roslyn Sotero spearheads the BOOST Community Schools Initiative at four PreK-8 schools,  establishing, evaluating and providing third-party accountability to school-based partnerships that support the success and well-being of all students, families, school personnel and the community at large. Roslyn also supports BTS's focus on racial equity via facilitation of the Positive Youth Development (PYD) and Family Engagement (FE) Collaborative Action Networks and the Let Youth Lead (LYL) Advisory Think Tank. She is an active member of Waterbury Public School’s (WPS) District Equity Leadership Team (DELT), supporting the District's efforts to roll out its Racial Equity Agenda via facilitation and coordination of professional development for all school staff and personnel on the intersection of race and education.

With over a decade of experience as an Anti-Racist Educator & Facilitator across New England, Roslyn holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Human Development and Family Studies from the University of Connecticut (2013). She is a certified Affiliate Practitioner of Courageous Conversations as created and founded by Glenn E. Singleton 's Pacific Educational Group.
