Kevin Maurer is the director of community engagement for the Cape Fear Collective. He has worked as a reporter in Wilmington first for the Associated Press and later for a local paper for more than a decade before transitioning to the nonprofit community. A graduate of Old Dominion University, Maurer is the author of several books, including No Easy Day: The Firsthand Account of the Mission That Killed Osama Bin Laden.
