Description
Session Description: If you want to understand collective impact, the first place to look is the frontlines of activism and social justice. After all, multi-generational movements for liberation represent the original "collective impact." LGBTQ, immigrant and BIPOC communities organizing for transformational change know what it means to coordinate efforts, create a common agenda, and put trust and relationships first. So what do these lessons mean for your collective impact effort and how you define success? How can funders negotiate, recognize and cede power effectively in the process? In this pre-conference funder session, we'll explore all this and more with real-time case studies and candid conversation.
