Reckoning with history and reimagining the future will always be fraught with power dynamics; doing this work in the context of a global pandemic, an uprising for racial justice, and an exclusively virtual world has brought new sets of challenges--and opportunities. Join Living Cities for an interactive session on lessons from their recently launched “Year of Reckoning,” a cohort of public sector leaders working to undo racism in their communities. By grounding in relationships, practicing anti-racism values, and shifting our notion of ‘impact’ from tangible outcomes to day-to-day behavior shifts, the Year of Reckoning cohort is fostering the competencies, connections, and culture needed to create an antiracist society.
