Description

How we integrate social and business frameworks to engage and align decision-makers and field practitioners on a collective impact initiative? As collective impact practitioners, we usually have difficulties to synthesize, present, and sell out our collective impact initiative to decision-makers that would engage as new allies or promoters. A sustainability case(SC) template is a tool that could help us to do so. This template integrates key components of other traditional tools such as logic model, logic frame, causal analysis tools (problems' and objectives' trees), and business' plans resulting in a systemic analysis that guide the decision-maker on the needed considerations to engage in new collective impact initiatives. This tool orientates practitioners as well in the design of the implementation plan to guarantee alignment in all the levels of involvement. In this session, we will introduce, discuss, and practice all the key elements to build a SC.

Learning Objectives: The participants will be able to:

  • Acknowledge the importance of social and business frameworks that define their present or future collective impact intervention
