Helen Reynolds is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and the chairperson of the Community Development Alliance's inaugural Resident Advisory Council on Housing, which was launched in the spring of 2024. As an Amani resident, Helen understands the challenges faced by community members, as she witnesses their struggles firsthand.

In addition to her leadership role with the Council, Helen continues to provide vital mental health services at the Dominican Center located within the Amani neighborhood. She passionately advocates for housing security in Milwaukee, leading a dedicated body consisting of representatives from 11 neighborhoods, all focused on addressing the critical housing needs of residents.

Helen is also an accomplished author, committed to promoting mental well-being and community resilience. Through her work, she aims to empower individuals and foster an environment where everyone can thrive.
