Dr. Fadra M. Whyte, DMD, MPH, is the Chief Dental Officer for the County of San Diego, leading efforts to improve oral health for all residents. A board-certified pediatric dentist with over a decade of experience at San Ysidro Health, she specializes in treating children with special health care needs and is faculty for the NYU Langone Pediatric Dental Residency at Rady Children’s Hospital. Dr. Whyte holds a doctorate in dental medicine from the University of Pennsylvania and a master’s in public health from A.T. Still University. She is committed to expanding accessible dental care, education, and services for underserved populations, including seniors and rural communities.
