Public resource leverage is a stated but largely undefined area of systems change that offers incredible potential to transform practices. In this way, the presence of identifying, growing and sustaining these practices over time through ongoing public resources is a tremendous opportunity for the collective impact movement. Participants will have an opportunity to hear directly from those implementing and making headway in leveraging public resources. Participants will be able to answer the following questions at the end of the session: (1) How do collective impact efforts engage in steps to analyze and identify public resources to support their community strategies? (2) How can individuals in collective impact efforts strategize the steps to take to curate and increase the probability of accessing funds from the public sector? This session will allow time for engagement with the panel as well as with peers in the room.
