CALM: A Practical Approach to Building Powerful Collaborations
Date & Time
Tuesday, April 29, 2025, 4:00 PM - 5:00 PM
Russell Gaskin Luzette Jaimes Diaz
Description

In this session, we’ll introduce CALM, a practical framework comprising four “agendas’ that support any collaboration to deepen engagement, build momentum, and advance meaningful change. The framework, which has supported the startup or turnaround of nearly 60 multi-stakeholder collaborations, consists of 4 distinct agendas:

  • Connecting people in trusting relationships across the many boundaries between people
  • Aligning around a clear and deeply shared intent for your work together
  • Learning about the larger system you want to change and the human experience within it
  • Making and testing tangible strategies and solutions and bringing them to scale

You’ll leave this session with an experiential understanding of each agenda, why it’s important, and how it supports the other agendas. Plus, we’ll provide a toolset to help you design and facilitate more meaningful and engagement meetings by thoughtfully tending to each agenda.
